About Kacia:
She is a 29 year old, ex- corporate professional turned online health coach, business mentor and podcaster. She was born and raised in the seattle area, moved to NYC for some time and now is in Southern California. Her partner Seena has been a guest on an episode of her podcast, too!
She is very high-energy and bubbly, and her podcasts are like sitting with a friend over a coffee talking about life.
The podcast episodes
Some of the podcasts include:
As you can see the content of these podcasts fit perfectly with the concept of my blog. Kacia talks about empowerment, dealing with our own mental awareness before being able to move to the GREAT of our lives.
The episode #44 I listened to one night at the gym (see right). It fit so well with the day I was having and it helped me to think through the events of the day. This was the episode her partner, Seena was a guest on. It was good to hear from the other side (being the male half) about being a witness to the amazing adventures and pursuing of happiness.
In one of the episodes, #39 to be exact, Kacia talks about moving away from good. Yes, having things in life that are good is okay. But we need to move to GREAT. She talks about settling in to the good. Our work, our partner, our lives in general may be good. But why can't we strive for GREAT? This really stuck with me.
Things I like about her podcasts
Kacia's energy
The idea of empowering yourself
Changing from the I can't to the I can
Addressing mental health
The idea that anyone can achieve things
The notion of looking at the positives rather than the negatives
How to listen to podcast
I listen to her podcast through Spotify: search for Empower her. You can also access it via Itunes. I would suggest finding a quiet happy place, sit listening with headphones and a coffee. You will feel like you are sitting across from an uplifting friend chatting about life.
